History

J.J Diggle was formed in 1951 by Mr J.Diggle and his son, John. The business began trading in Richmond street, a small side street in Liverpool city centre, dealing with trade customers only to provide a repair, design and jewellery manufacture service to a high proportion on city centre jewellery shops.

In 1992 J.J Diggle moved to Church Street in Liverpool City Centre as the company expanded its design and retail activities, producing more customised pieces for its display cabinets, establishing J.J Diggle Ltd as one of Liverpool’s leading jewellers.

In 2002 a second branch was opened on Allerton Road, a residential high street in the South of Liverpool. This branch, Diggle’s The Jewellers, focused more on the retail and bespoke aspects of jewellery, whilst at the same time continuing the tradition of a quality repair service.

J.J Diggle forged partnerships with some of the top brands in the jewellery business including Rotary, Citizen, Hot Diamonds, D for Diamonds, and Bands & Co.
