URBEATZ offer alternative education and youth projects. We have worked with many schools, youth groups, colleges and universities across the region, where we have facilitated courses and workshops centred on poetry, diversity, anti-racism, anti-bullying, fair play, media, youth empowerment and careers. Further we offer strictly music based courses focusing on song writing, recording, performance and event management. These courses can be taster sessions or longer in length depending on need. From April 2008 we are also offering three specialised workshops:

Strive 2 Succeed. This is a youth empowerment workshop focusing on goal setting and achieving in your career and life.

Crossing The Line. This workshop uses the URBEATZ produced documentary, to tackle youth and youth issues.

URBEATZ: Writing and Recording an Urban Music Song (OCN Accredited). The course looks at the practical side of making and recording music. It is a nationally recognised accredited course.

URBEATZ have facilitated and acted as consultants on seminars and conferences across Merseyside. These include The Black Experience Today, Who You Calling Nigger? and LBHMG presents Strive 2 Succeed Youth Conference.
