Upfront URBEATZ Sessions is a pilot scheme as part of BBC Merseyside 95.8 FM Upfront Programme, whereby an artist will perform some of their best songs with a live band to a studio audience. The Artist will tell the audience a little bit about themselves, their background and the songs they perform and offer the audience the chance to ask questions. Each show is hosted by James Klass and Mandy Smith and played back on the following Saturday show.

Performers include J-Soul, KOF, Jay Norton, Janiece Myers, Future, Patrick Graham, MC Sly and Paisleigh.
